Course Description: This course aims to allow you to understand and apply current methods in the economic evaluation of health interventions. Topics include: measurement; valuation and analysis of costs; techniques for measuring and valuing health outcomes; the presentation of cost and effect data; and critical appraisal of economic evaluation in health care decision making.

Assessment: Exam 70% - Written Assignment(s) 30%

Course Credit: All LSHTM Short Courses offer transfer of credit to LSTHM Certificate, Diploma or Masters-level programmes within 4 years of completion
