Course Description: This course will introduce the principles of economic analysis and a number of tools used to aid decision-making in the field of animal health economics. This is a very practical module, throughout which you will learn how to use the tools in a number of activities and case studies at the same time as gaining an appreciation of the issues involved so as to be able to critically review the work of others. It is assumed that you have not previously studied animal health economics, so that the whole subject is new to you.
Assessment: 1 assignment
Course Credit: All RVC short course students receive a Certificate of Achievement. Students who may wish to transfer their credits to RVC's post-graduate Certificate, Diploma and MSc programmes, are advised to select from RVC's range of 240-hour courses.
Course Study Hours/Duration: 50 hrs
