Course Description: By the end of this course you will be able to:
- make a review of relevant literature and other sources of information
- show knowledge of the required structure and approach to writing a scientific paper or report
- describe the submission and assessment process for a peer reviewed article
- write a scientific paper with appropriate contents and format which will:
- read critically a scientific paper by:
- referee a scientific paper
- understand the principles of a systematic review
- access and use the facilities of the Cochrane Collaboration
- check the scientific clarity and reproducibility.
Assessment: Written Assignment(s) 100%
Course Credit: All LSHTM Short Courses offer transfer of credit to LSTHM Certificate, Diploma or Masters-level programmes within 4 years of completion
