The courses cover development-related topics such as the economics of agriculture and livestock, agricultural trade policy, and the development of small agribusinesses. There is a particular emphasis on the cross-over between livestock and public health, with courses covering the identification and control of animal diseases. Each of the Courses can be taken individually, although in the case of the advanced livestock courses some prior veterinary knowledge may be required.
