Health & Health Promotion

The DL4D Health and Health Promotion courses cover a broad selection of topics. They draw on the range of postgraduate programmes available through the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and the Royal Veterinary College.

These include courses on nutrition, food safety, environmental health, water and sanitation, and health promotion. For those responsible for implementing health policy, there are courses on the management, administration and financing of health services. There are also courses to assist you with the design and development of research and data gathering. Finally, there are advanced courses in Public Health, Clinical Trials, Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases such as HIV/AIDS and Malaria.

Each of the Courses can be taken individually, although in the case of the advanced courses some prior medical knowledge may be required. Each of these courses can also contribute towards the completion of a post-graduate Certificate, Diploma or Masters'-level qualification from the relevant institution. Contact the Course Director of the courses you are interested in for further information.
